The North Lands Creative Glass collection of Contemporary Glass comprises around 200 pieces. This number increases annually through donations from the world’s leading glass artists and artists in residence.
Temporary exhibitions of glass and other artforms are held at the North Lands Creative Glass Gallery and featured here on our website. When available, works for sale will be featured in our shop.
National Glass Centre Exhibition: A Selection of Works from the North Lands Collection.
This exhibition displays a selection of objects from the Collection at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland until Sunday 30 August 2015.
A Forest of Glass
The 2014 Conference Exhibition will feature work and documentation from our experimental engraving residency, A Forest of Glass, which took place in Winter 2013. The residency was supported by Creative Futures. Creative Futures was a Creative Scotland talent development programme bringing organisations and individuals together to develop the skills, talents and potential of Scotland’s creative sector.
Private view Saturday 6 September. The exhibition ran until the end of October.

Beyond Tradition: Contemporary Glass in a Museum Environment
To celebrate Year of Creative Scotland 2012 we worked in partnership with Caithness Horizons to show a new exhibition of objects from our Collection. The exhibition ran from 11 August- 2 October 2012.
