Engraving and Sandblasting

The course will cover sandblasting, diamond and wheel engraving; beginning with the basics. Glass (window glass) will be provided for the initial stages but students will probably prefer to bring their own glassware to work on when they become more proficient. The aim will be to go over the essentials as quickly as possible, allowing participants to use the bulk of the time to work on their own projects. On the other hand some participants might wish to spend the time exploring different ways of engraving. The intention is to make the course as flexible as possible so people can choose their own route. We can even make prints from engraved glass plates. Total beginners are welcome and if you don't think you can draw that doesn't matter either. Get in touch with your creative side and come enjoy yourself!!
