<h2>Welcome to North Lands Creative Glass</h2>
North Lands Creative Glass was set up in Lybster, Caithness, Scotland, in 1995 to encourage study, research, collaboration and co-operation between glass and other artists, designers, crafts people and architects in the production and use of creative glass of the highest quality.
<p>It has already established as one of the finest centres of excellence for glass in Europe, holding master classes, conferences and courses each summer. Guest course leaders have included Bertil Vallien of Sweden, Joel Philip Myers and Paul Stankard of the USA and Richard Deacon, Tessa Clegg and Diana Hobson of the UK and Mieke Groot of the Netherlands.
<p>North Lands Creative Glass also provides residencies for glass artists of M.A. standard to enable them to develop their talents and skills in its workshops in Lybster under the National Lottery New Directions Scheme.
<p>Workshop space can also be rented on a commercial basis and accommodation provided.
